Central reservation system (CRS)
Head office software solution for hotel groups and chains
*evolution hotel software platform is designed to operate in complex multi-hotel environment and provide support for central reservation offices of hotel groups and chains. When switched into CRS (Central Reservation System) mode, *evolution enables hotel groups and chains to centralize key aspects of their operations, such as profiles, reservations, contracting, channel management, administration and reporting.
Central reservation office (CRO)- Centralized rooms and rates availability for all hotels – view availability by hotel of for the whole group at the CRO
- All reservation options and attributes are available both at the hotel and at the CRO – new reservation, reservation update, cancellation, deposits handling, etc.
- Reservations, introduced into the central office can be modified into the hotel and vice versa.
- Instant update of the rooms and rates availability after each reservation to both databases (central and respective hotel’s), regardless of its source (CRS, PMS, WBE, ADS, GDS)
- Centralized occupancy forecasting for the entire group or by hotel at the CRO
- Transfer of a booking to another hotel – automatic feature allowing transferring of a reservation from one hotel to another, prompting automatic cancellation of the initial reservation and registration of a new reservation for the selected hotel with the same attributes
Central profiles- Multi-hotel profiles – they are shared between all hotels. If a profile has been registered at the CRO or at any hotel, such multi-hotel profiles with all their attributes, instructions, statistics and history will be available for bookings in the entire group.
- Single hotel profiles – they are switched for using only in the hotel where they have been registered and will not be synchronized and shared with the other hotels.
- Common profile performance statistics – for all hotels and hotel by hotel
Centralized sales and contracting automation
Managing partner contracts in the hotel or in the central office – revenue posting, postings adjusting, invoicing and AR of each account (agent, corporate customer, tour operator) can be configured to be processed either in the CRO or in the hotel. The rates, postings, revenue and invoice information will remain invisible for the other database.
This feature is extremely useful for highly centralized groups of hotels where the CRO is entirely responsible for the major accounts (contracting, bookings processing, arrangements handling, invoicing), while separate hotels deal only with smaller accounts and with daily routine operations at the front desk.
Centralized administration
Centralized administration of all configurations, nomenclatures and rates. Allows hotel groups to build uniform set ups of all their hotel databases, such as:
- Services
- Service groups
- Maintenance schedules
- Revenue groups
- Types of documents
Centralized administration reduces the total cost of ownership (implementation, maintenance, staff) and leads to uniform and comparable reporting foundation.
