On-line booking engine for hotel’s web site
(Also known as internet reservation system or WBE)
The on-line booking engine (WBE) by Clock Hotel Software has been designed to offer hotels fast, easy and commission-free way of increasing the number of their bookings by using the potential of their hotel’s web site. Password protected access to internet reservation software for regular guests, corporate customers, travel agents – lets them request and book on-line at their rates.
Bookings via the hotel WEB site
The goal of the Web booking engine is to be integrated with the hotel site and allow new customers or existing users to check the availability of the hotel, to make new bookings or to guarantee them. The management of the rates and the available rooms is performed entirely through your Evolution hotel system. See DEMO. - Service. The usage of the web booking engine is designed as a service supplied in its entirety by Clock to Evolution. There are no requirements for the hotel other than an internet connection.
- Integration. The Web booking engine is closely integrated with the Evolution hotel software. All information needed is automatically derived from the hotel system. All created bookings are automatically imported into the hotel system as well.
- Easy implementation. The implementation of the WBE is done by simply adding a line to one of the hotel web site pages. Yet another line allows you to add an availability calendar on the home or some other page of your hotel site. The calendar gives online information about the free rooms in the hotel.
- Design. The colours of the booking engine can be set to suit the colour scheme of the hotel site.
- Available rooms management. The management is performed entirely from the hotel system and the rooms for sale through the web site are closely connected to the free rooms in the hotel software. You can specify the occupancy level of the hotel which allows internet sales. Rooms will be sold automatically as long as there are available ones and the occupancy is below the specified level.
- Rates. The internet reservation software can sell using the rates set in your hotel system. Just select one of the existing rates and indicate you want to offer it on your web page as well. The restrictions of rate apply to its online use, too: stopped days, stopped for arrival, number of guests allowed, etc. All restrictions defined in the Evolution Channel management apply to the Web booking engine.
- Bookings. Visitors to your hotel site get information about the rooms available at the hotel and the rates and packages offered with them. They can select one or more rooms and choose among the available boards to make an online booking. They can also cancel their booking.
- Guarantee. Bookings made through your web site can be guaranteed in several ways you have selected: bank transfer, providing credit card details or making and online credit card payment. The amount of the guarantee deposit is calculated automatically. You can link certain rates to certain guarantee policies. This allows requiring one-night deposit for regular prices, but full advance payment for discount rates, for example.
- Confirmation. Guests are sent automatically created confirmation or cancellation messages to their e-mail addresses.
- Multi-language capabilities. Web booking software has been transalted to some of the most popular languages for native communication with your potential consumers.
On-line booking capabilities for regular guests, agents and companies
The web booking engine by Clock Hotel Software provides everything you need to service with your regular customers, agents and companies. - Profiles. All profiles in Evolution hotel system can be used as registered users. All you need to do is define an access password in the profile details and you can use the profile via the internet.
- Negotiated rates. You can set special rates that can be used by your regular guests, agents and companies. Special rates are also handled by the Channel management and can be restricted.
- Group bookings. The Web booking engine allows selecting more than one room in a booking. These rooms can be of different types, different boards and accommodate different numbers of adults and children. In this way the engine easily satisfies the needs of agents and companies.
- Special guarantee policies. Your special partners may use special guarantee policies, where the deposit is calculated differently or no payment is required.
Integration into hotel site
Internet reservation system (web booking engine) in *evolution platform has been designed for fast and efficient integration into hotel websites. For seamless blending into any site, its user-friendly editor allows customizing the colour scheme.
The WEB reservation system is hosted entirely on a ClockBS server and does not require any additional resources or equipment.
To use the WEB reservation system you need hotel system version Evolution. It is incompatile with older versions (Clock 2008, 3.7, 3.5, ...).
