New functionality allowing monitoring and billing of water meters, electricity meters and other measuring devices.

The Owner Management module in *evolution hotel software now offers a new functionality allowing monitoring of water meters, electricity meters and other measuring devices. The functionality aims to facilitate property managers at condo hotels in registering and charging for the electricity, water, gas, etc. used by owners. It monitors the readings of various meters (energy, gas, heat, etc.). The readings can be registered in the programme manually, or automatically, without human intervention. Automated reading is only possible with smart meter management system, where the Owner management module connects to the smart meter system, extracts the latest readings, calculates the consumption and posts the due amounts on the accounts of the owners.

The new function will be introduced by Patch 46 of *evolution hotel software. It can be found in Owner management/Meter reading and is protected by user rights, which have to be granted specially.
